It's not really written about anyone in particular, just the fact that I've been going through the dating scene a little bit," AJ expressed about the song. "' Take Me' for us is kind of one of those songs that's just very honest. It serves as the lead single from their upcoming EP, which is set to follow later this year. The track is the first music release from the sister-duo - Aly Michalka and AJ Michalka - in ten years.
